Transcript

After we collect the embryos, we often inject them. Here we are loading up an agar plate that has been molded to form channels that the embryos can rest in. The channels have a vertical side and a side that’s at a 45 degree angle. When we place the embryos in the channel, we can inject towards the vertical side. Here you can see a single celled embryo in our small needle poking through the center and depositing the injection material.
